The regional selection stage of the 5th International Music Festival of the “Navruz Sadolari” folk ensemble was held at the Children's Music and Art School № 1 in Karshi.

As is known, the international music festival "Navruz Sadolari" has been held for several years already among music, art and specialized schools, as well as colleges of arts of national musical instruments and orchestras. The main goal of the project is to further improve the education of children's musical art, preserve and protect the intangible cultural heritage, promote its content and expand international cooperation in the field of children's creativity. The regional qualifying round of this year’s festival has also become an excellent competition among the participants and a competition of skills and talents.

During the competition, a total of 20 orchestras and ensembles were heard. The focus was on aspects such as the ability to understand music and listen to the audience.

According to the final results, the ensemble of the children's music and art school №10 of the Kitab district and the children's music school № 18 of the Yakkabag district took the first place in the regional stage and won the Republican stage of the festival.
