Akhror Meyliev, a resident of the village of Chimkurgan, Chirakchi district, has 12 acres of land. Of these 12 acres, lemonary is grown in 2 acres of land, and in the other 2 acres of land, under greenhouse conditions, tomatoes are grown, which are planted 2 or 3 times a year and receive a rich harvest. In an open area of land, potatoes, carrots and turnips are regularly planted.

According to the landowner, as soon as any family member has free time, they should devote it to working with the land. If one part of the grown fruit and vegetable harvest satisfies the need of the family, the other part can be determined for sale. Any work brings wealth to every family.

The same amount of land and opportunities is also available to the resident of the mahalla Yangiqishloq, Shuhrat Rajabov. But despite this, he does not use this amount of land. The earth is in an unused condition. Obviously, this resident does not have such income as the first family.

Similar situations were identified by a group made up of individuals from organizations of tax authorities, internal affairs, prosecutors, district and regional hakims and other organizational entities.

“When studying the state of land use by the population of the area, residents of the area who do not fully use the land, as well as those who receive a higher income from the use of land, were also found,” said Askar Hushvaktov, an inspector of the district tax inspection.

- As you know, to support the development of family entrepreneurship in the country, to support the effective use of the population, the existing tax system was also introduced and measures are being taken against landowners who violate the procedure for using land plots. According to him, citizens who did not plant or improve their crops on the land plots provided for individual housing construction and improvement, now pay 3 times more land tax. During the study, families who do not use the land were warned and aware that actions would be taken in their cases.

Of course, the time has come to radically change our view of land use today. Because the share of our nation is sown on our land. It was not for nothing that our ancestors said that “Earth is a wealth, a key is labor”. Experienced landowners prove this during their activities and during their work.

"On 3 acres of land in greenhouse conditions, we grow every year, 2 times the tomato crop," says Tuychi Alimov from the Kasan district.

- If we sell the first harvest of products in March-April, then the next harvest will be collected in November-December. When deducting all costs, then only from the greenhouse you can get income of at least 15 million sums per year. In general, our annual income of 8 square meters will exceed 25 million sums.

Now imagine that if two family members work for an average annual salary, they will earn 25 million sums. The same amount of money can be found from 8 acres of land. This is a great opportunity for improving the population and increasing the real incomes of families. It is a pity that a family owning 6 or 8 acres of land is listed as a poor family.

Pay attention to the numbers in the area there are 605 thousand 619 households. Of these, 443 thousand 203 households have their own land. The total area of these lands is 49 thousand 38 hectares. In other words, apart from residents in high-rise buildings, residents of rural areas and mahallas have land plots. If all these lands are well used, on the one hand, these households will increase, and their well-being will be ensured, while the food in our country will grow, and ultimately our economy will grow.

This is the essence of the work carried out by the government to improve the culture of livelihood of the population and create conditions for farmers.

In particular, a regional working group and a headquarters for the proper use of land are currently being set up in our region, and explanatory work is being carried out on the benefits and measures taken by the population.

At the same time, attention is being paid to raising the incomes of low-income families through the use of land. So far, 1624 poor families in the region have been provided with seeds of melons, pumpkins, seedlings of various fruit trees, vegetables at the expense of local budgets and sponsors.
